Mental Health Ireland and partners are inviting members of the Traveller Community of all ages and interests to showcase their creative skills in a Christmas competition celebrating Traveller culture, resilience, and hope for the new year and beyond.
The second annual Traveller Christmas Creativity Competition welcomes all kinds of artistic skills and passions, from paintings to make-up, nails to table centre pieces, writing, poetry, traditional crafts etc.
The competition will close at 5pm on Thursday December 16th and winners will be announced in a special virtual prize-giving event on December 21st, with special guests; artist Francesca Hutchinson, Fr Richard Gibbons from Knock Parish with a Christmas blessing and even Santa himself will make an appearance! We also have a special performer lined up. More to be announced soon!
