Cork student wins National Photographic Project

Anita Sadowska, a student at Bishopstown Community School, Bishopstown, Co. Cork was announces as the winner of our inaugural national photographic project at Trinity College, Dublin, on Saturday, April 24^th.  The theme of the Project was Positive Mental Health.  Anita was presented with her award of €250 and a trophy by Mr Brian Howard, CEO of Mental Health Ireland.

Anita’s photo titled “Live Life in Full Colour” shows 3 girls playing in a forest with the autumn leaves.  Thérèse Coveney, project co-ordinator said “Anita’s picture depicts the importance of being with friends, spending time outdoors and having fun as a means to positive mental health.”
