Cork student wins National Photographic Project

Anita Sadowska, a student at Bishopstown Community School, Bishopstown, Co. Cork was announces as the winner of our inaugural national photographic project at Trinity College, Dublin, on Saturday, April 24th.  The theme of the Project was Positive Mental Health.  Anita was presented with her award of €250 and a trophy by Mr Brian Howard, CEO of Mental Health Ireland.

Photographic Project 2010 Winner

Anita’s photo titled “Live Life in Full Colour” shows 3 girls playing in a forest with the autumn leaves.  Thérèse Coveney, project co-ordinator said “Anita’s picture depicts the importance of being with friends, spending time outdoors and having fun as a means to positive mental health.”
